Malcesine, on the eastside of the Garda Lake, clustered around the towering Scaliger Castle and the historical Palazzo dei Capitani, keeps intact its ancient medieval origins.
Sailing, waters skiing, windsurf, underwater sports, tennis, minigolf, paragliding and mountain bike are very commoun.
The ever temperate and healthy climate, especially during autumn months, permits beautiful walks in the hills and in the mountains, among the olive groves and the luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation.
You can reach Monte Baldo (1800/2118 m. a.s.l.) "The Botanical Garden of Italy" with a brief cabin lift ride.
In the winter time the cabin lift let's you reach the vast variety of ski grounds of Monte Baldo where a chair lift and six ski-lifts serve over eleven kilometers of ski trails of varying difficulty.
